YOUNG PEOPLE COLORING IN FUN
Recalling the activity, carried out in May 2022, called: “Young people coloring in diversity”, which consisted of both the design and the process of color selection and painting of 6 murals on the exterior facade of the IES Orriols.
The purpose of this activity was to highlight the richness of diversity in the neighborhood, as well as to promote creativity and awareness within the framework of European values of tolerance, respect, equality and integration of the youth population and the general community. This activity was carried out by a group of 13 youth activists together with a larger group of young people who painted the murals.
Three stages can be highlighted in the process of developing them. Firstly, the design stage, which consisted of 40 proposals. The second part consisted of drawing the chosen sketches. And finally, the respective murals were painted with the help of 140 young people, together with 10 delegates from different organizations in our neighborhood.
Taking advantage of the approaching spring, the young people will make an observation of the murals done in order to renew them for their conservation, contributing to value the effort invested by young people in the realization of the murals mentioned, bringing a revitalization of various public spaces.

All the above activity is framed in the project “Regardless of origin, among all young people we rebuild a more inclusive and supportive Post-Covid-19 Europe” which is developed between several European cities throughout 2022-2023 by the hand of Valencia Acull with Cantiere Giovani Cooperativa Sociale ONLUS and InterEuropean Human Aid Association Germany e.V.
